This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electronics Assembly / Repairs Technician to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury.
The Electronics Technician will work a 37-hour week and will report directly into the Production Manager. You will be ensuring all of the company products are built correctly, with the use of engineering drawings and instructions, in a timely, and quality-focused manner.
They currently have four permanent positions open; all with a focus on fine mechanical assembly. You will be required to do assembly with occasional test, fault finding and repairs on their products. The mechanical team would consist of you and two other junior-med level engineers. Although the role is very much hands-on, some level of mentoring and growing the division will be for you to manage.
You will collaborate very closely with computer scientists, software and electronic engineers. Repair Technician
This is a great opportunity for an experienced repair technician to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury.
The repair technician will work a 37-hour week and will report directly into the Production Manager. You will be ensuring all of the company products are built correctly, with the use of engineering drawings and instructions, in a timely, and quality-focused manner.
They currently have two positions open; one for an assembly technician, and the other for a repair technician. You will be required to do assembly with occasional test, fault finding and repairs on their products. The products are a mix of electronics and small rotating mechanisms – experienced in both of these areas would be very helpful.
In terms of requirements for this repair technician role, they are looking for keen and attentive individuals who are looking to accelerate their learning and skill set. You will need to have good timekeeping skills, a good communicator and of course have a strong engineering and technical background.
The business are open to hearing from individuals who are very experienced, but also love to hear from applicants who have limited experience but a passion for technology, perhaps with some level of technical education.

Service and Repair Technician Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Technician / Repair Technician to join a well-respected medical engineering company based in the Croydon area that produce complex software driven, electro-mechanical medical systems used within the critical care sector.
The Repair Technician will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, repairing and calibrating the companies products prior to them being sent back to their customers. This role will also involve contact with customers, both via email and phone. you will require good IT skills and be required to input data into the companies CRM system.
Ideally, they are looking for a repair technician with a background in a similar electronics service technician / engineering role, however they are flexible.
Repair Technician Requirements
* BTEC / NVQ / HND / Degree level qualifications within electronics, electrical, software or mechanical engineering
* Some commercial experience in a similar position is beneficial
* Experience in electronics testing / repairs / assembly / manufacture / calibration / fault finding / soldering etc
* Experience working on hosptial / critical care medical products is advantageous but not required
* Excellent communication and IT skills
* Good hands-on engineering capability
